Full-time associates are eligible for health insurance after their ninety (90) day probationary period has ended. You and your family can receive coverage for both in-network and out-of-network care. To get quality care for the best value, always use a Cigna In-Network PPO provider. THE STANDARD PLAN
A Standard Health Plan typically involves a balance between premiums and out-of-pocket costs. With this plan, you pay a moderate monthly premium, and when you seek medical care, your out-of-pocket expenses such as copayments and deductibles tend to be lower. This plan provides more comprehensive coverage upfront and is well-suited for those who anticipate regular healthcare needs and prefer predictable costs.
HIGH DEDUCTIBLE HEALTH PLAN (HDHP)
A High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) generally offers lower monthly premiums but comes with a higher deductible—a significant amount you must pay before the insurance starts covering costs. With an HDHP, out-of-pocket expenses can be higher until you reach the deductible threshold. However, it often includes a Health Savings Account (HSA), enabling individuals to save pre-tax money for medical expenses and, in some cases, receive employer contributions. HDHPs are typically chosen by those who prefer lower premiums and are healthy or don't anticipate frequent medical expenses.
HEALTHY(me) PROGRAM
When you qualify for the Healthy(me) program, you receive an additional $20 discount on your medical premium every week (per associate and spouse). Healthy(me) statuses are good for 2 years. It’s the associate’s responsibility to keep track of his or her deadline. Marpai’s wellness team sends out a letter and a fresh lab sheet when you’re nearing your 2-year mark.
If you have two or more chronic health conditions, a wellness coach from Marpai Health may reach out to see if you want help with managing your condition(s). Ingles and Marpai offer Healthy(me) programs to assist members with diabetes, cardiac health, pregnancy, nicotine cessation, and other conditions.
FITNESS REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM (FRP)
Our Fitness Reimbursement Program (FRP) allows you to get reimbursed $50 per quarter when you show proof that you regularly attended a membership gym.
Just submit the Fitness Reimbursement form, with receipts, to Marpai Health to qualify. Program offered to all employees and spouses who are enrolled in the Ingles Markets health plan. Members must be actively enrolled in one of the HEALTHY(me) programs. Fitness centers must be: Be able to provide evidence of liability insurance if requested, have sufficient personal instruction to allow for safe exercise activities, and can track and report member attendance. Two reimbursement options are available, quarterly and yearly.
INGLES MARKETS LIMITED REIMBURSEMENT PLAN (LRP)
Ingles Markets also offers the Limited Reimbursement Plan. This is NOT a "major medical" insurance plan. It is a pay-upfront plan where you receive reimbursement for certain medical services and discounts on prescriptions.
The Ingles Limited Reimbursement Plan is a limited benefit, fixed indemnity plan that is available to all full and part-time associates working at least 90 days of service at Ingles Markets. The LRP offers two levels of benefits: Level 1 and Level 2. LRP is a fixed indemnity reimbursement on a "per day" basis for common everyday accidents and illnesses at an affordable price.
Teledoc, included in Standard or HDHP plans for Ingles associates, offers cost-effective care without the ER hassle. Register for 24/7 phone or video consultations to address non-emergency concerns easily.
